Class of 2015 Alumnus Hunter Staton has been accepted into the prestigious Virginia Program at Oxford! The Virginia Program at Oxford gives select students the opportunity to spend six weeks studying in one of the oldest summer study programs at Oxford University. Students will live and study in St. Anne’s College at the University of Oxford, England and follow the English system, which combines daily lectures and weekly tutorials.
Students will learn literature, history, and society of late-16th and early-17th century England – the Elizabethan, Jacobean, and Caroline periods. Lecturers include some of the world’s foremost experts on English Renaissance history and literature.
Hunter is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and plans to go into the field of Corporate Law in the future.
