7th graders at courthouseThe Honorable Eileen A. Olds spoke with GCA Government students and shared some lessons she has learned during her time serving in the judiciary.  Judge Olds opened the floor to questions as she encouraged students to be ever mindful of how their actions today can shape their future opportunities.

Seventh grade Civics classes had the honor of visiting Judge Olds in her courtroom to see first-hand our Judicial system at work.  Students got to sit in during actual proceedings and saw attorneys, probation officers, and other civil servants in action.  A trip to the courthouse holding cells capped off the visit and left everyone thankful for the comfort of their own homes!

Thank you to The Honorable Eileen A. Olds for allowing us to observe her courtroom and for inspiring us with her words of wisdom!
