GCA Collegiate students participated in the City of Chesapeake's annual Mayor's Youth Day. Caroline Buchholz served as the reporter, Conner Clark as the City Clerk, Catie Prevost represented a citizen participant, and Sam Slagle spoke at the mock City Council meeting.

Mayor's Youth Day gives students the opportunity to work with City leaders to see the many "behind the scenes" aspects of running a city and provides students with exposure to different career choices they may be interested in.

Our Gators are pictured here with Chesapeake Mayor Alan Krasnoff.
