Our faculty’s love of God and love for their students is evident in their daily interactions with the students and their families. We appreciate the trust that parent’s have placed in us by allowing us the privilege to be a part of the children’s lives. In Isaiah 55:11, God promises that His word will not return empty. It is my prayer that we plant the seeds of God’s words into the hearts of these precious little ones that He has entrusted to us; and that God will accomplish His purpose in each of their lives.
It is our goal in the Beginnings Academy to partner with parents in the education of their children while stimulating physical, mental, emotional and social development in a Christ-centered environment. Our curriculum is designed with thematic units and carefully planned hands-on activities that will meet these needs in a way that is both fun and challenging to the children. Age appropriate lesson plans promote learning in the subjects of Bible, math, language, science, and social studies while incorporating a biblical worldview throughout. We are fostering a love of learning that will carry over to success in their future learning experiences.
We offer a facility that is a secure area within Greenbrier Christian Academy specifically designed for this age group. Each classroom has plenty of space, play equipment, and learning materials. Classes for grades P2, P3, and P4 have their own restroom and classroom sink for frequent hand washings. The lunchroom, used for snacks and lunches, is a large common area between the preschool classrooms. We are also very proud to have two huge playrooms for promoting gross motor development and a place to play when we can’t use our outdoor playground.
