Our Beginnings Academy preschool and kindergarteners wrapped up their year-long weekly Chapel series with a special Chapel theme saying Thank You to a dear friend for all of her years of service; Mrs. Pat Diggs. Mrs. Diggs has been helping in various capacities at GCA for over thirty years and is getting ready for a new adventure out of state. She recently passed along a wonderful teddy bear puppet that has been used this year in the Beginnings Academy Chapels to help the children learn and understand God’s love and hope for them. The puppet was lovingly named “Diggs” after Mrs. Pat Diggs, who we will miss dearly.

With the help of Diggs, children reviewed many of the chapel lessons they heard throughout the year, from the opportunity to have Jesus in their heart, to not having to be afraid because God is always with us, to praying for friends or when we are in need; the children were reminded of the many ways God loves them! Additionally, the children recited several Bible verses they had memorized throughout the year!

With lots of music, good friends, and God’s truth, the Beginnings Academy end of year chapel was a wonderful close to another God-glorifying year for our preschool and kindergarten Gators!
